Right now I'm monitoring the issue with a program called TreeSize as well as using Task Manager with all of the optional I/O columns enabled. I've read that this might be an issue with Windows 10 and the computer using HDD/SSD space when memory is full. I've tried the process of elimination and it doesn't seem to matter where I'm streaming my movies or what I'm doing with Steam and/or Steam Idle or Archi Steam Farm.
I stream a lot of movies and shows on a wide variety of sites and I play a lot of games on Steam and use apps to idle Steam and farm for trading cards when I'm not playing a game. So far this has eaten up as much as 34 GB in one session. I've read so far that it is a known Windows 10 issue, but for the first time I've noticed that no matter what I seem to be doing while I'm using my MBP, something in the background is continually writing to the hard drive taking up space, to the point that I eventually have to restart and after restarting, the missing space is returned and once again available. Hey, wanted to give you a heads up that I AM experiencing some issues right now that I do not remember happening before the optional update.
